• The Blue Water Sand Fest, July 6-8: The festival will feature sand sculpting contests and demonstrations and live music by numerous performers all weekend long at Fort Gratiot Light Station County Park, 2802 Omar Street in Port Huron.
• Port Austin Parade & Fireworks, July 4: The parade will begin at 1 p.m. in downtown Port Austin and end at Gallup Park. The fireworks show will begin at dusk over the harbor.
• St. Clair Fireworks, July 4: The show will be held at Palmer Park along the riverbank in the city of St. Clair.
• Algonac Clay Concerts in the Parks, 7 to 9 p.m. July 5: Catch a performance by Mickey and the Meldrum Brothers at Algonac Riverfront Park, just one of many entertainers performing in the weekly concert series that began in early June and lasts until mid-August. The final performance at the Algonac park is slated for July 12, and the remainder of the shows will take place at Clay Township Park.
• St. Clair Summer Concert Series, 7 to 9 p.m. July 6: Weekly concerts are held at St. Clair’s boardwalk and riverfront. Friday’s performer is an Elvis tribute band featuring Darrin Hagel & The Burning Love Band.
• River Classic Car Show in St. Clair, noon to 4 p.m. July 7: Head out to check out the cars that will line the riverfront in the city.
• Port Sanilac Parade & Fireworks, 10 p.m. July 7: The parade will start at 2 p.m. in the village’s downtown area, and the fireworks will light up the sky over Lake Huron at dusk.
